MUSCLE TECHNICS is a training app whose coach draws on peer-reviewed research. Scientific publications from Sports Medicine, JSCR, and the Journal of Applied Physiology, built into an AI coach that optimizes your training daily.

Install it as an app: no app store needed, straight to your home screen.
No generic plans. No guesswork. Every decision is based on your data and fixed training rules.
A large language model (LLM) puts your plan together before every workout and explains why. It receives the evaluation of your recent workouts and the exercises you've excluded. Fixed training rules calculate weight, recovery, plateau detection, exercise swaps and deload.
The coach calculates how much recovery time each muscle group needs after your last session, based on sets, RIR, and your age. You get a live countdown: a muscle that isn't fully recovered gets fewer sets; one that clearly hasn't recovered stays out today.
After each set, you enter your RIR. If the set was clearly too easy, the weight goes up next time. If you went to failure, it stays as long as you hit the planned reps; otherwise it comes down. Right after an increase, it only comes down once you miss the planned reps by more than two.
No new e1RM best anymore? The app catches it, first tries an increase and only swaps the exercise for one with the same movement pattern if that brings nothing.
You pick which exercises are allowed. The plan uses those and nothing else.
The coach knows where you are in your training week and how recovered you are. After hard weeks, it dials the volume back instead of blindly pushing for more.
The language model does not learn on its own. After every workout the coach receives your new data (last 20 workouts, records, plateaus, volume), and your next plan adapts to it.
Create account, enter experience level and training days, choose your split and session length. A few minutes.
The coach analyzes recovery, your exclusions, volume and creates your plan for today, with full explanation.
Enter weight and RIR. The app autoregulates in real-time and tracks every set.
With every workout the coach has more data: it detects stagnation, sees your volume per muscle and plans the next workout accordingly.

The coach draws on published research. Here are all studies integrated into the AI coach.
Dose-response relationship: more sets = more growth. Fractional set counting for compounds. 2,058 participants.
RIR 1–3 builds practically the same muscle as training to failure, with less fatigue.
10+ sets/week/muscle for significantly more hypertrophy than fewer sets.
At equal weekly volume, frequency makes little difference. Two sessions per muscle group keep the sets per session manageable.
Longer rest (2–3 min) for compounds, shorter (60–90s) for isolation for optimal results.
Strength: untrained lifters gained most with 3 sessions per muscle group per week, trained lifters with 2 (4 sets each). The app plans 6 (beginner), 9 (intermediate) or 12 (advanced) direct sets per week for each large muscle group. The legs get this number twice: once for the front of the thighs (e.g. squat, leg extension) and once for hamstrings and glutes (e.g. Romanian deadlift, leg curl).
Fiber type does not predict the training response, tested directly in 2020. Our reference values come from practice (abs 30h, arms 48h, chest 56h, legs 60h) and only apply without training data. Otherwise the app calculates from your sets, RIR and age.
From age 30, the app plans more recovery: 30–39 +10%, 40+ +10% (beginners +20%).
On the leg extension, loading in the stretched position produced significantly more muscle growth.
Confirms Pedrosa: stretched position superior for all tested muscle groups.
Rotating exercises between sessions produces more hypertrophy than always doing the same ones.
The first exercise of a session gets the most reps and load. The app puts compounds before isolation. Exception: hanging leg raises come first.
After a longer stretch of training, the coach plans a deload session when your recovery check-in shows high fatigue. The app does not impose a fixed 4–6-week block.
Muscle-group-specific volume ranges for balanced development.
RIR-based weight adjustment in real time for optimal training management.
Secondary muscle loading in compounds: every set counts toward all the muscles involved, secondary muscles partially.
MUSCLE TECHNICS is for everyone who wants to build muscle faster and smarter, whether you're just starting out or have been training for years. The app explains everything you need to know and adapts to your level.
No more guessing: The app knows if your biceps are recovered, if your volume is progressing, if your bench press has stalled, and tells you exactly what to do today.
Beginner or advanced, the app analyzes every workout, detects patterns you can't see, and creates plans tailored to your body.
